Dana Volleyball is a developing program with strong student athletes who have a tenacious attitude and know how to win.

At Dana College, solid, well-rounded athletes can become immediate impact players on the court. Dana Volleyball consists of both junior varsity and varsity level teams, allowing athletes to develop their skills on the court instead of the sidelines. The importance of teamwork and commitment are highly stressed to each athlete both on and off the court.

The Great Plains Athletic Conference is very competitive and its teams are consistently ranked among the best in the nation. Dana Volleyball is competitive within this conference due to the atmosphere and character of its athletes.

Volleyball is all about Teamwork, Confidence, Determination and Fun. There is a strong sense of team unity within this program. We, as coaches, strive to instill the confidence in each player that she can accomplish anything if she believes in herself and her teammates.

Along with confidence, determination sets the standards for Dana volleyball. Volleyball should be fun and enjoyable, otherwise the reason for playing the game is lost.

The atmosphere of the volleyball program is intense while striving for excellence. It will teach valuable lessons that structure and develop an athlete's life. Athletes at Dana College learn the importance of commitment, teamwork, time management and leadership that prepare them for the future.

Academics are also very important at Dana College. Athletes are not only pushed to succeed on the court, but also in the classroom.

If you are passionate about the game and want to be a part of a growing tradition that strives for excellence, then become a Viking volleyball player.
