Caddell to Become a Viking

Blair, Nebraska ~ The Dana College Volleyball team announced the signing of Kayla Caddell of Woodbine, Iowa to a national letter of intent.  Caddell is an outside hitter from Woodbine High School.  She is the daughter of Larry and Deb Caddell of Woodbine and plans to major in Criminal Justice during her athletic and academic career.

“I like Dana College because it's small and I am used to being in a small school,” said Caddell.  “Also, everyone seems very friendly.”

“We are looking forward to having Kayla join our Viking volleyball family,” said Head Coach Rayna Cain.  “She is a quality student-athlete who has the potential to develop into a very good player."

Last season, Dana College finished 8-23 overall and 1-14 in Great Plains Athletic Conference play. It was the second year at the helm of the Viking program for Coach Cain.

Dana College is a private, Lutheran college located in Blair, Nebraska.  The Vikings are members of the Great Plains Athletic Conference and the NAIA.  Dana College is a place where all students actively participate.
