 The 2007 Daktronics-NAIA Women's Soccer Scholar-Athletes have been announced with over 200 student-athletes receiving the honor. Representing Dana College were Heather Fischer (SR, Gretna, Neb.a), Emily Wisch (SR, Lincoln, Neb.), and Kara Fox (JR, Omaha, Neb.).

 

In order to be a recipient of the NAIA-Daktronics Scholar-Athlete award, the recipient must be a junior or above in academic standing, has attended the nominating institution a minimum of one full year, and has a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.50 (on a 4.0 scale) at the time of nomination.


Dana finished the season at 12-8 and as NAIA Region III semifinalists.  Shad Beam is in his first season as head coach of the women’s soccer program.
