The Viking Women's Soccer team strives for excellence in everything it does. "We are a team that does everything together and takes pride in what we do on the field, in practice, in our conduct, our desire and intensity, fitness level, character and academics.

Dana Women's Soccer has a commitment to excellence that has benefited individual members on and off the field. In the last four years, the team has boasted 34 All-Conference players, 12 Academic All-Americans, 8 All-American players and 8 All-Region picks.

The past two years the team has also earned the NSCAA's national team academic award.  In order to earn the team academic award, a team must post a grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Only seven NAIA institutions were recognized for both the men's and women's programs.  Dana College was the only institution in the Great Plains Athletic Conference and in the area to achieve this honor.

On Dana's team, players are rewarded for talent and effort — not seniority. Student athletes on the team excel on the field and in the classroom.
